Weekend and holiday timed-entry vehicle tickets are required to enter the Timpooneke Trailhead, the gateway to the Mount Timpanogos summit, during the peak summer season.

Permit rules
QuotaTimed-entry tickets are required to enter the Timpooneke Trailhead on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from midnight to 12:00pm noon during the peak season. 76 tickets are released 30 days in advance and 24 tickets are released 2 days in advance.
GroupUp to 1 private vehicle reservation per day for 1 time slot; only one reservation per private vehicle.
FeesA recreation pass is also required: $10 per vehicle (3-day), $20 per vehicle (7-day), or $60 per vehicle (season). Timed-entry ticket reservation fee may apply per Recreation.gov.
TransferReservation holder must be present at the time of reservation.
SafetyMount Timpanogos is a long, strenuous high-elevation summit hike; afternoon thunderstorms and lingering snow on the upper route are common.
